Previous articles have highlighted the importance of monitoring investment managers’ performance and carrying out a review of fees to ensure that they represent value for money. However other checks, such as ensuring the correct investment management fees have been invoiced, or that a change in investment strategy has been implemented correctly could be overlooked.

Guernsey and Jersey both released their 2019 budget proposals on 9 October. These will be debated in the relevant States later in the year.
Each island is proposing some changes that will affect pensions, although Guernsey’s list is rather longer than Jersey’s!
